Football Player Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Dog in Mexican Territory to £15,000
Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has raised the reward for details concerning his lost dog Halo to £15k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who went missing on October 9th, was had on a tracking device, and Ramsey shared a Google maps location of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of updates about our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Substantial bounty for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is safe and can be back with us shortly," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer first revealed that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has since shared numerous pictures of the adored pet on his social media account.
A seven thousand five hundred pound reward was first announced, but with absence of information on Halo's status after a week, the player and his family raised the sum.
"We just want our pet back," he stated in a further request on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet disappeared.
The latest photograph post is a monochrome image of the beagle sleeping, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "How I wish to cuddle you one last time sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
Ramsey has additionally shared a statement from his wife Colleen on social media indicating they have a few "pressing questions" regarding the incident and are concerned the household "may never receive answers".
"To this day we are still searching for our dog. It is unlikely we will," his wife's post stated.
The Wales leader joined Mexican premier club Club Universidad Nacional recently and made his debut in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the initial high profile British Isles player to participate in the Liga MX.
